About Mortise & Tenon Co
In 2024 after working in the industrial HVAC trade for 10 years, I decided to make the jump and finally take my passion for woodworking to the next level and started Mortise & Tenon Co. I started the company with a passion and a purpose. To me, woodworking has always been more than just a trade, it's an art form.
I have been around woodworking my entire life, when I was a little kid I grew up helping my dad in his cabinet shop, watching and learning from him. I built my very first end table at 8 years old, knowing that I would one day do this every day.
I have always believed honest craftsmanship is a way for me to honor God, serve others, and creates pieces that will last for generations. Each piece I make ends up in someones home and I build them with patience, attention to detail, and respect for the materials. My goal is simple: to create timeless, well made pieces you can be proud to gather around and pass down to future generations.
