My Name is Matt Roemer and I started Mortise and Tenon co., in 2024 with a passion and a purpose. To me, woodworking is more than just a trade—it’s a calling to create with care, integrity, and purpose. My faith and my family are the foundation of everything I do, guiding how I work and how I treat people.
I believe honest craftsmanship honors God, serves others well, and creates pieces meant to last for generations. Every project I take on is built with patience, attention to detail, and respect for the materials, because often what I make is welcomed into a family’s home. My goal is simple: to create timeless, well-made pieces you can be proud to gather around and pass down to future generations.
